Meet Silvia

Hello! My name is Silvia, and I am the founder and owner of Spanish Lessons in Sucre with Silvia, a Spanish school in the beautiful city of Sucre, Bolivia.

I have been teaching Spanish for more than 17 years, and one of the things I enjoy most about my work is meeting people from different countries and helping them feel confident speaking Spanish.

I created my school because I believe that learning a language is much more than studying grammar and vocabulary. It is about communicating with people, discovering a new culture, sharing experiences and becoming part of everyday life.

Although I am Bolivian and have always lived in Bolivia, through my students I have had the opportunity to discover the world. I have welcomed students from many different countries, listened to their stories, learned about their cultures and made friendships that continue beyond the classroom.

For me, Sucre is the perfect place to learn Spanish. It is a beautiful, safe and welcoming city where you can practice Spanish in real-life situations while discovering Bolivian culture, food, traditions and landscapes.

I personally care about every student who comes to my school. I want you to feel comfortable, welcomed and confident from your first day. Whether you are coming to Bolivia for travel, study, work or simply to experience something new, I would love to be part of your Spanish journey.
